A teleprompter should help presenters maintain eye contact with the audience. When different people use the same studio, the camera and prompting text need to be positioned at a suitable height for each speaker.

The Second Wave Motorised Pedestal Model 30 and the Second Wave RoboticPrompter 24 Inch High Brightness bring these tasks together. The pedestal adjusts the height of the supported setup, while the teleprompter displays the script in front of the camera lens.

This is particularly useful when switching between seated interviews and standing presentations, or when several presenters share one recording position. The operator can adapt the setup rather than asking each presenter to accommodate a fixed camera position.

Both products come from a single supplier, making it easier to plan a studio setup around prompting and height adjustment. Add a suitable PTZ camera and your prompting workflow to create the recording system required for your production.

Product 1: Second Wave Motorised Pedestal Model 30

Motorised support for camera and teleprompter setups

The Model 30 supports loads of up to 30 kg. Its triple-section column, conventional tripod base, Mono-Lock system and adjustable central spreader provide support for camera and teleprompter setups within the permitted total load.

The supplied wired controller has a display and three stored height positions. These presets simplify recurring adjustments between presenters. An integrated spirit level assists alignment.

The separately available Second Wave Robotic Data Box enables VISCA network control. External automation requires the appropriate integration; onboard AI image analysis is not included. Bitfocus Companion integration is currently under development. Wireless control is optional.

Professional prompting for PTZ studio cameras

The RoboticPrompter combines a 24-inch, 1,000-nit prompting monitor with a robust, lightweight metal housing. Manufactured in Germany, it uses high-quality German-made teleprompter mirror glass.

The enclosed housing shields the camera from disruptive stray light. Its generous dimensions provide room for PTZ camera movement, supporting different presenter positions and framing requirements.

This package uses the High Brightness version with HDMI input. Other sizes, brightness levels and 3G-SDI versions are separate configurations.

A separate talent monitor can display the programme feed or other relevant content. Different solutions are available according to the camera, studio layout and workflow. We can advise you on a suitable configuration.

Why combine a teleprompter with motorised height adjustment?

The prompting text and camera position need to suit the presenter. Adjusting the supported setup together makes it easier to prepare the same recording position for different speakers.

Does this package include a camera?

No. The package consists of the pedestal and teleprompter. A suitable PTZ camera must be supplied separately.

Are all pictured monitors included?
